Mabuhay Energy Corporation (MECO) is reaffirming its commitment to the electricity cost savings of its cement manufacturing partner, Solid Cement Corporation (CEMEX) , with the renewal of its retail supply contract. This marks the continuation of a fruitful partnership and highlights MECO's steadfast dedication to providing cost-effective power solutions and customized pricing schemes to its valued partner, CEMEX.

Since the start of the supply agreement of CEMEX with MECO in 2023, the partnership has yielded significant benefits because MECO was able to devise a customized electricity pricing scheme fit for the energy consumption of the cement manufacturer. This gave CEMEX noticeable cost savings for its Luzon manufacturing plant. “Extending this contract is a big milestone for the companies and hopefully everything will go as per the plan.” Procurement Director of CEMEX, Juan Carlos Soto said during the ceremony. “We will continue to strive to deliver excellent service, we really hope this partnership will go a long way.” Chairman and CEO of Mabuhay Energy, Sherwin Hing, added.
