This partnership helps Century Properties reduce electricity costs, improve operational efficiency, and better manage its energy consumption.

Under this collaboration, multiple Century Properties facilities have shifted to MECO’s retail electricity services. These include Centuria Medical Makati, an advanced medical IT hub hosting hundreds of clinics and wellness brands; Century City Mall, a boutique retail space offering upscale shopping and dining in Makati; Novotel Suites Manila at Acqua, a premier hospitality property enhancing urban stays; Century Diamond Tower, a high-end commercial office space in the heart of Makati; and Asian Century Center, a PEZA accredited office tower in Bonifacio Global City known for housing the corporate offices of the country’s luxury automotive distributor. Most of these developments qualified under the RCOA framework, having met the 500 kW threshold required to directly contract with a Retail Electricity Supplier.

In addition, Azure Urban Resort Residences is qualified for the Retail Aggregation Program (RAP), which combines the electricity demand of multiple meters within the development to meet the 500-kilowatt threshold required for participation. This setup allows Azure to access more competitive electricity rates and enjoy improved energy cost efficiency across the community.
