What better way to end the year than by giving back to the Filipino community! During the season of giving, Mabuhay Energy chose to give back and show its dedication to Filipino farmers by purchasing Christmas baskets from Rural Rising PH. Rural Rising PH bridges distressed Filipino farmers to a bigger market through its agri-entrepreneurship program.
These Christmas baskets were given to all employees of Mabuhay Energy during the company’s annual Christmas party held in Seda BGC Hotel Taguig last December 8, 2022. By buying these baskets, Mabuhay Energy helped provide livelihood to 18 Filipino farmers from Cagayan and Cordillera. This tie-up also made employees realize the company’s impact on the Filipino community through partnerships with social enterprises.
As Mabuhay Energy grows, it becomes increasingly important for the company to continually develop and practice its corporate social responsibility. Vice President and Head of Sales and Marketing Jacques Castillo said “Mabuhay Energy should always remember its bigger purpose: contributing to the Filipino community.”

There to represent Rural Rising PH were its co-founders Ace Estrada and his wife, Andie. In a video played during the event, Mr. Estrada said that they bring hope to the farmers. “What we do is something a lot of people can do and must do,” his wife stated in the same video while adding that they founded Rural Rising PH to be able to leave a legacy to help the community.
