As a member of the Energy and Power Committee of the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI) , Mabuhay Energy (MECO) is enthusiastic about the reforms streamlining the permitting process of constructing new power plants. These reforms have been implemented in line with the Philippine Energy Plan (PEP) 2018-2040 of the Department of Energy .

The revised Certificate of Compliance (COC) process and new Energy Virtual One Shared System (EVOSS) platform will fast-track plant construction for quicker power availability, boost energy security for more reliable and resilient supply, lower costs and enhance competitiveness for Filipino energy businesses.
We commend the Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC) 's commitment to transparency and collaboration, evidenced by their engagement with the PCCI and our power industry partners in the Energy and Power Committee.
